How the Path2MD matcher works

Path2MD is a prerequisite and school matcher. After you enter the courses you've completed — including credit hours, labs, online or in-person format, community-college origin, and any AP/CLEP credit — Path2MD compares each course against the published prerequisite requirements for 149 LCME-accredited MD programs and shows which schools your coursework appears to satisfy, plus which requirements you may still be missing.

Matching is rules-based, not predictive: a school appears as a match when your completed courses cover its listed requirement categories and credit hours and your course attributes (such as AP/CLEP or online) appear to fit that school's stated policies. It does not evaluate GPA, MCAT, essays, Casper, interviews, or admissions chances.
